We already talked about October trips earlier in the month, so now let's get into all the other awesome things Outdoor Recreation offers the community. First, you can find all kinds of products in the store from camping gear to snow gear at a price you just can't beat!
Something even cooler is the Lemon Lot. When I first got here, I definitely had no idea what that was, and man do I wish I had. The Lemon Lot is a place where the community can park the cars they are interested in selling. The idea is for those new to the base to have an easy place to go look at used cars being sold from fellow military members. If you're looking to purchase a car, use the map below to find the lot. If you're ready to sell a car, then head to Outdoor Rec to reserve a parking spot!
An exciting thing for all of you hunters out there…we are happy to tell you that you CAN hunt here in Germany! Every year Outdoor Rec offers the course that gives you the licenses you need to be able to hunt at a fraction of the cost the locals pay. To find out more information about the hunting course, visit our website. The next course will begin in January, so stay tuned to the Outdoor Recreation Facebook Page for when you can sign up.
We know, we know. You are all ready to know what trips Outdoor Rec are offering in November. Well, your wish is granted!
With winter comes all-new outdoor activities you can partake in. Which means, our favorite ski and snowboard trip is FINALLY back. P.S. skiing and snowboarding is a fun activity you can do with your friends while social distancing because everyone has their own equipment! If you don't have your own equipment don't worry, because Outdoor Rec offers rental packages for both skiing and snowboarding.
Stay tuned to find out the next facility taking the spotlight on Wednesday, November 4th!
