It is time to put the Eifel Mountain Golf Course in the new blog series hot seat! A lot of us here at FSS personally spend a lot of our free time at the golf course and we don't want any of you to miss out on the fun.
Golf can be intimidating at first, but once you get one good hit with your driver you will be addicted just like everyone else. This 18-hole course is a great course to learn on, yet it's challenging enough for those who have "perfected" their swing. Grab a scorecard from the clubhouse and you'll have a map and a basic set of how-to instructions to get yourself through the course.
Events are happening regularly at the clubhouse, and they don't only entail playing golf. The upcoming wine and nine is a great example. Those interested in golf can play the game and those interested in wine can drink the wine, or of course, you can do both. This gives you the opportunity to spend time with all your friends and family regardless if golf is your cup of tea.
Change up your golf game and try something new with fling golf! Fling golf is a hidden gem for Spangdahlem's golf course! You don't need to swing any kind of club, instead, you use what looks like a lacrosse stick to throw the ball at the hole (I promise this is MUCH easier than figuring out how to hit the golf ball with a club). The best part is it's family-friendly so the kiddos can have a blast with you on the golf course.
Once you are no longer at that beginner stage and can hit the ball, it is time to sign-up for tournaments! The tournaments are a fun way to compete with your friends and family. Witness the fun everyone had at the last tournament below…
